Nashoba Brooks School Announces Full-Day Kindergarten Program
Nashoba Brooks School, located at 200 Strawberry Hill Road, Concord announces an exciting update to their Kindergarten program for next year. Starting fall 2013, Kindergarten will transition to a full-day program, following the same schedule as grades one through eight of four full-days and one half-day. A full-day kindergarten program will allow children and teachers time to explore topics in depth and provide for greater continuity in a child-centered and developmentally appropriate environment. The extended day will greatly enhance the opportunities available to Kindergarten students at Nashoba Brooks School.
Students at Nashoba Brooks School experience the benefits of small class sizes and a child-centered program, while they gain confidence through independence and achieve personal excellence through a unique academic experience. Boys and girls in the Kindergarten program begin to master the skills that form the foundation for continuous learning as they learn and play across a campus rich with educational and natural resources. They spend time in gyms, science centers, technology labs, art studios, music labs, and an auditorium with a performance stage. Additionally, Kindergarten students have access to the school’s 30-acre campus including large athletic fields, a variety of playgrounds, woods with nature trails, and ponds.
