The Happy Chocolatier™ of Acton will now feature Lizzy’s Ice Cream (Waltham) in the company's retail store at the Nagog Park Mall.  New selections from award-winning, locally made Lizzy’s will include super-premuim ice cream, sugar-free ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet.  Lizzy's is also now offering chocolate confections from The Happy Chocolatier in its Waltham, Needham and Cambridge stores.

The founders of both companies left jobs in large corporations to pursue their dreams: creating and selling high-quality sweets that would delight customers.  The companies are now working together to broaden the range of outstanding confections available in the communities where their stores are located.

“With Lizzy’s Ice Cream now available in our retail shop, we are able to expand the breadth of our offerings and provide a locally made product to our customers,” commented Paul McMahon, who founded The Happy Chocolatier in June 2011 and opened his retail location in October of the same year.  “We believe in supporting local small businesses whenever possible and this is a great example.  Nick Pappas and his team create ice cream that is extremely fresh, comes in rich, delicious flavors and supports the local economy.”

Upcoming Event

Lizzy’s Ice Cream

In 1994, Nick Pappas left his job in the computer industry. With a life-long love of ice cream and access to great ice cream recipes, Nick opened Lizzy’s Ice Cream in Waltham in 1995.
