A Housebreak that Wasn't, Malicious Destruction and More from the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A School Street resident notified the Acton Police Department on Nov. 15 about two male subjects with backpacks who were trying to enter a house through a window.

The barn-type house was near Fire Station 2.

When responding officers arrived and completed an investigation, it was determined the two males were brothers who live at the residence and forgot their keys while coming home from school.

In other police news from Nov. 15:

  • Officers responded to a Davis Road residence for a report of a disturbance. Officers were unable to enter the home, but did find a resident outside playing music. He was told to keep it down.
  • A Powdermill Road resident reported someone was writing on car windows.
  • Officers responded to a car accident on Great Road and asked to evaluate someone who had a possible diabetic reaction. The car was towed and the driver's dog was transported to Palmer Kennels.
  • Officers responded to Central Street where a car struck a deer. No one was injured and the deer was gone on arrival.
