Stonehill College got on the winning track with a commanding 6-0 triumph over American International College in non-conference field hockey action at Ronald J. Abdow Field. Senior goaltender Kaitlyn Curtis (Acton, Mass./Acton-Boxborough) made three saves to preserve her third career shutout. Stonehill College kept on the winning track with a 3-1 victory over Saint Anselm College in non-conference field hockey action at Timothy J. Coughlin Memorial Field at W.B. Mason Stadium. Curtis went the distance in goal and made two saves to preserve the Skyhawks second-straight win.
The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision against No. 22 Xavier. Cincinnati's Cole DeNormandie (Lincoln-Sudbury) fed Matt Bahner, who beat Justin Marshall for his first goal since 2010.
