Junior forward Hayley Brock (Acton, Mass.) scored the first goal of the game to lead the No. 9 University of Maryland women's soccer team to a decisive 3-0 shutout of NC State Sunday afternoon at the Dail Soccer Stadium.
Despite and early lead, the Williams field hockey team could not stop a come-from-behind push by Amherst on Saturday, falling to the Lord Jeffs 3-2. This drops the Ephs to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in conference play. Caitlin Conlon (Sudbury, Mass.) had an assist in the loss.
