Acton Police Investigating String of Home Break-Ins

Thirteen break-ins have occurred in the past two months, police say.

 

The Acton Police Dept. is investigating a string of home break-ins, whch have occurred during the daytime over the past eight weeks, according to a press release from Det. Raymond Grey.

A total of 13 break-ins have been reported in the west Acton area, and items stolen include money, computers, televisions, cameras, game systems and jewelry.

Acton residents are advised to secure all doors to their homes, and report any suspicious activity to police, Grey said. There have been instances where residents have not reported suspicious people to police, he said.

Also keep your ground level windows locked.. They're gaining entry by cutting screens and climbing in through unlocked windows!

If we all were given a handgun on our 18th birthday no one would be breaking into anyone's house.
