Acton Woman Nabbed on Assault Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

On Saturday, Sept. 8, the Acton Police Department arrested a local woman.

Leidiane Araujo, 30, of 7 Wampus Ave., Apt. 17, faces an assault and battery charge.

In other police news from Sept. 8:

  • Officers responded to a Great Road restaurant where a person was behaving strangely. Person said he was feeling stressed and went out for a walk.
  • Officers responded to a Great Road residence to take a sexual harassment report.
  • Officers responded to Broadview Road for a larceny report.
  • Officers responded to Main Street for a larceny report. Wallet was soon found in the trash.
  • Station received a report of a heavy-set man riding a bike on Central Street, wearing a blue T-shirt, khaki pants and a baseball cap. Person was collecting cans and was told not to go on people's property.
  • A woman on Hosmer Street reported a man was making threatening comments to her. Responding officers advised both parties to stay indoors.
  • A School Street resident called Acton police to report a skunk wandered into the living room. Officers assisted in removing the skunk.
