Brainshark Appoints Acton Resident as President

Greg Flynn will oversee sales, marketing, services, product, engineering and IT functions.

More than 25 years of experience in the software industry has paid off for Greg Flynn.

The Acton resident was recently appointed president of Brainshark, Inc., the leading sales enablement platform provider.

In his new role as president, Flynn will oversee Brainshark’s sales, marketing, services, product, engineering and IT functions. Previously, as senior vice president of products and services, Flynn oversaw customer support and professional services, and managed all technology and service offerings – including each new release of the Brainshark platform and the popular SlideShark mobile app.

Mike McEachern was named executive vice president and CFO.

Both longtime members of Brainshark’s leadership team, Flynn was previously Brainshark’s senior vice president of products and services. The appointment comes as Brainshark continues its strong growth trajectory – extending its market leadership, with continued high demand for Brainshark’s on-demand presentation solutions and the explosive adoption of its SlideShark app for viewing and sharing mobile presentations.

Flynn will report directly to Gustafson.

Prior to co-founding Brainshark, Flynn served as director of professional services for Progress Software Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire.
