Breaking News: Serious Car Accident On Prospect Street

Around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, two people (identity unknown) were sent to the hospital after crashing into a telephone pole on Prospect Street, officials said.

The car appeared to have skidded 100 yards from the initial impact, landing just at the end of the street at the station.

Acton police and fire officials were on scene blocking off the the roadway where the telephone pole was significantly damaged, causing power to go out at the adjacent plaza.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
