ABRHS is known for their talented students who never fail to entertain sold-out audiences. The AB choruses present a number of concerts and events each year under the direction of Jennifer Moss, but the annual “Cabaret Night” fundraiser is always one of the most anticipated concerts.
The choral ensembles have been working diligently since August, rehearsing weekly, to perfect their performances. This year’s “Cabaret Night” will include plenty of comedy, dance numbers, instrumental groups, vocal music of all styles like Broadway, contemporary, and a cappella, and there’s even a TRAPEZE act!
Some of the choral highlights will include “I’m Not that Girl”, an endearing ballad from the musical sensation Wicked, Rollo Dilworth’s “Freedom Train”, and a rigorous and exciting Cuban number called “Son de Camaguey”. In addition, all choral groups will join together for the opener, “Comedy Tonight” from the classic musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and for the finale, “Goodnight”.
Individual acts by chorus students feature a wide range of entertainment from ballads to up tempo, and they’ll keep the audience engaged the entire night.
Performances are Friday and Saturday, November 16 and 17, at 7:30pm in the ABRHS Auditorium. Tickets are only $10 and are available at all ABRHS lunches, Red, White, and Brew in West Acton, or by contacting Jennifer Moss at email@example.com. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. ABSAF pass are not accepted at this fundraising event.
