Car Fire and Missing Car Reported on Main Street

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The Acton Police and Fire departments were called to Main Street on Sept. 13 regarding a car fire.

Firefighters put out the fire at 7:47 p.m.

The owner of the car called Acton police at 7:57 p.m. to report the car was missing.

In other police news from Sept. 13:

  • The department received a report of man walking on Summer Street. Maynard police reported the man in question is known for breaking into cars. No problems were found.
  • An engineering van was keyed on Main Street.
  • Officers responded to a three-car rollover with multiple injuries on Sudbury Road. Those injured were taken to Lahey Clinic.
  • Acton police and fire officials responded to an accident on Great Road with unknown injuries. One person refused treatment.
  • Acton police and fire officials responded to a High Street residence for a report of stove fire. The fire was extinguished at 5:33 p.m.
