Motorists in Acton had a tough time dodging wildlife on Nov. 29.

According to the Acton Police Department log, officers had to assist two motorists who struck deers on Main Street.

The first incident occurred at 5:03 p.m. There was no report of injuries to the driver, but the deer was removed from the scene.

The other incident occurred at 10:20 p.m. There was minimal damage to the car. The deer had to be destroyed and the highway department was notified.

In other police news from Nov. 29:

• A resident driving home noticed there were donkeys roaming on Westford Lane. Donkeys were gone when responding officers arrived.
• An alarm on Pope Road went off in the basement and bulkhead. Concord police assisted. The building was checked and secured.
• Officers responded to Central Street for a report of threatening and harrassing phone calls.
