Discussion: What New Business Would You Like to See Open in Acton in 2013?
A few have closed this year, so what would you like to see open in those places.
With the new year approaching, it means possible new beginnings for business owners.
Acton saw a few local businesses close in 2012, which can open the door for anyone with a vision of owning their own shop.
So we want to know: What type of business would you like to see open in Acton in 2013?

Amen to that! It's such a great location I don't see why someone - like Panera - hasn't snapped it up.

I would love to see the West Acton district developed into a town "center". It is the only area in Acton with this potential and it would add so much value to the community. It would also give residents a wonderful walking district. It needs municipal parking and some interesting retail offerings to make it a true destination.

Well, for me, I will say that the world is going through a change and it is time that we understand what this mean for employment as we use to know it. Far more people will have to contend with the idea of starting their own small business, working from home and who know what else. Learning practical skills and being prepared to take the risk to start is critical. I heard that Chipotle was moving into the McDonald's location. Interesting, but not such a good thing for the Mexican place right across the street.
