2. REGISTER TO VOTE: The Presidential Election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The last day to register to vote for this election is Wednesday, Oct. 17.
3. ELDRIDGE/CAVARETTA DEBATE: Incumbent state Sen. Jamie Eldridge (D-Acton) and his Republican challenger in the November election, Dean Cavaretta of Stow, will square off in an October debate hosted by Patch and ActonTV. The live debate will be held in ActonTV studios on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. and will be live-streamed/live-blogged on Acton Patch, Sudbury Patch, Marlborough Patch, Westborough Patch, and Northborough Patch, as well as broadcast live on ActonTV, Comcast Channels 8, 9, & 99
and Verizon Channels 40, 41 & 45. Other towns in the district also will be broadcasting the debate at a later date.
