Five Things You Need to Know Today: August 15

Remembering 9/11, town meetings and Contra Dance.

Gearing Up for the 10th Anniversary of 9/11:

1). Acton Patch is asking those in the community to share your stories of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Did someone you know pass away that day? Did you or someone you know volunteer in any way after the attacks? Did you or someone you know serve in the military following 9/11?

Visit Patch's Massachusetts 9/11 Facebook page.

We are interested to hear the local side of the story. Contact Patrick.Clark@patch.com or 978.319.8245.

Meetings:

2). The Green Advisory Board Meeting will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Acton Memorial Library.
