Five Things You Need to Know Today: March 8

Town meetings and a human trafficking film/discussion.

 

Human Trafficking/Modern Day Slavery:

1). The Acton-area League of Women Voters will show a documentary film and have a discussion about modern day human trafficking. The event will take place in the Faulkner Room of the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Meetings:

2). The Acton Leadership Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Faulkner Room of the Town Hall.

3). The Acton-Boxborough Regional School Committee - Policy Subcommittee will meet at 9 a.m. in the Superintendent's Conference Room of the R.J. Grey Junior High School.

4). The Commission on Disabilities meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in Room 126 of the Town Hall.

5). The Community Preservation Committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Acton Memorial Library.
