Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

From the Editor: I'm Leaving Acton Patch

Editor Patrick Clark is transitioning from Acton Patch Editor to Ad Manager.

Acton,

To everyone I've met, to those who have helped me along the way, and to those I haven't had the pleasure of meeting, come Monday, Sept. 10, I will no longer be the editor of Acton Patch.

It has been a fantastic two years covering Acton news. I've changed positions in Patch so Robert Fucci, the Sudbury Patch Editor, will be taking over Acton Patch.

Acton is a vibrant town with good people, great businesses, active citizens and great schools. I can't stress enough that Acton Patch is your site; a community site. Help keep it fresh and thriving, like Acton deserves.

You can upload your own:

I'm excited for my new position as Ad Manager but of course I'm going to miss covering this town. I'm grateful for the opportunity and the people I've met along the way.

Sincerely,

Patrick

Patrick: Congrats on getting this new venue up and functional. And thank you SO much for your hard work. You've always been remarkably responsive and helpful in getting the word out to the community on important events/initiatives. Glad the change works for you, but you will be missed!

Patrick,

Excellent work as editor of the Acton Patch. All the best... think of the transition as no longer managing the asylum, but now selling tickets to it.

You've taken The Patch from nothing to an important information source - usually the first with the story. The connection with other towns with related stories is also valuable. I hope Robert can reach the high bar that you've set.

What story do you think was the best for getting us to read The Patch? Maybe a survey could add to you lessons learned...

Good luck!

Patrick - I am almost as addicted to my morning read of Patch as I am to my morning coffee! You have done such a good job reporting news and events of Acton. I will miss your clever and widespread coverage of "Our Town." All the best as you move on leaving large shoes to fill.

Good luck out there. May you sell many fine ads. Acton Patch under your leadership has been very good for Acton, and it sure doesn't look like like enough ads are being sold to support the operation. I'm concerned that AOL will get tired of this business at some point and start disinvesting.

Hi Patrick,
My first reaction to this news was Boo Hissss, but then I got out of my own way and hoped this was something that was good news for you. I wish you all the best and I want you to know that I will miss you. Thank you for all the help you have given me and Bridgett over the last eternity. I am glad I had the chance to meet you and I wish you all the best going forward.
