Kate Winslet & Josh Brolin Movie Set to Film in Acton
Major motion picture to be shot in Acton during summer 2012.
"Labor Day" is the title of a movie to have scenes filmed in Acton by director Jason Reitman, on June 25 and August 22, 2012.
This information was announced by Town Manager Steve Ledoux during Monday night's Board of Selectmen meeting. According to Ledoux, Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin are to star in the film and a home on Piper Road in Acton has been selected to be Winslet's characters home. Another scene may quite possibly be shot at the for a scene where Winslet's character is teaching an exercise class to seniors.
Reitman has directed notable movies like "Juno" and "Up In The Air."
