Update, Thursday, 6 p.m.: NStar is reporting 107 customers, or 1 percent of residents are without power.
Update, Thursday, 9 a.m.: NStar is reporting 450 customers, or 5 percent of residents are without power.
Update, Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.: NStar is reporting 583 customers are without power, which is down to 6 percent of residents.
Update, Wednesday, 9:30 a.m.: NStar is reporting that 896 customers are without power, representing 9 percent of residents.
Update, Tuesday, 10:30 p.m.: NStar is reporting that 1,196 customers are without power, representing 12 percent of residents.
Update, Tuesday, 4:40 p.m.: NStar is reporting that 1,346 customers in Acton remain without power, representing 14 percent of residents.
Update, Tuesday, 11:45 a.m.: NStar is reporting that 1,568 customers in Acton remain without power following Hurricane Sandy.

NStar is reporting that 224 homes are without power in Acton as of 3:58 p.m.
105 homes were without power as of 2 p.m., according to the town website's Hurricane blog. Trees were down on Orchard, Agawam, Harris, Newtown, Joseph Reed, and Hayward. A transformer fuse was blown on Joseph Reed.

My friend who lives at 18 High Street and the surrounding community may be without power as a huge pine tree came down and live wires across her driveway. She is
completely in the dark.

An update from Linda by email Thursday morning: Wilson Lane, Coolidge Drive, Fife & Drum and Revolutionary Drive all all still without Power in Acton.

Please remind residents that still have no power that NStar supervisors cruising around town will report your street as "repaired" if they see lights on in houses that are actually being lit by generator power. That was the case on Charter Road - we had to start a flurry of new calls to them - and are now probably down at the bottom of the list again! This is the second time the same tree took out our power in less than a year.
The residential section of Charter Road is still dark.

I am on High St and we have had only partial power for about 4 days. No heat, cooking range or hot water. Something to do with an issue on the Neutral wire.
