Suspicious Photographer, Underaged Drinkers and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on Feb. 19:

  • A Brown Bear Crossing resident reported someone was outside her home calling her names.
  • Officers responded to Sawmill Road for a report of a suspicious Asian man that had been taking pictures of houses. Person was visiting from China and had never seen snow before. Reporting party was updated of the findings.
  • Officers responded to Avalon Drive for a domestic issue. According to the log an arrest was made. The Acton Police Department said it involved a juvenile and no further information would be made available.
  • Officers were dispatched to Charter Road for an accident. One vehicle was stuck in a snowbank.
  • A Parker Street resident reported receiving threatening text messages.
  • Officers responded to Overlook Drive for a report of a party taking place that was disturbing the neighbors. The party was deemed to have under-aged drinkers. One person fled into the woods, walked about 1/4 mile and appeared to have been picked up near Heron View.
  • An officer spoke with a loss prevention employee at a Main Street business about a possible counterfeit bill.
