Sammy is a 5-year-old male at Buddy Dog Humane Society who needs surgery after testing positive for heartworm.
He was brought to Buddy Dog by local animal control after he was found abondoned in a hotel.
Sammy gets along well with other dogs and is good with kids older than 10 years old.
