This picture was taken at NARA park several autumns ago with a simple Sony digital camera. I probably took 50 shot of that egret until I got this one. I have been an Acton resident for 18 years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Voting opens today, so, scroll through our photos, pick your choice to win and tell us which in the comments section by indicating the picture number. One vote per person, please.
Voting will end at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Are there more of us out here with an opinion? Maybe not. Sadly, Acton Patch quality and audience have fallen drastically in the last few months. Is there hope for bringing both back up? Sure. Actual local reporting will do it! It's not too late. In the meantime, I'm fine with Egret (1) or the Arboretum Arbor (#4, if I'm counting correctly).
