DESCRIPTION:Learning to skate inspires self-confidence in children and gi
 ves them a healthy activity to enjoy throughout their lives. &nbsp\;This
  fun-filled and instructional program will start with Snowplow Sam's int
 roduction to Skating and go right up through Basic 8. &nbsp\;Skaters wil
 l get a perfect start to learning beginner elements such as stroking\, i
 ntroduction to edges\, turns\, basic spins and jumps. &nbsp\;They will b
 e well prepared to move on to Advanced classes. &nbsp\;Class includes 30
  minutes of lesson and 30 minutes of free skate/practice time. &nbsp\;St
 udents should bring skates (not double runner blades)\, a helmet\, mitte
 ns or gloves\, and warm\, layered clothing. &nbsp\;A yearly registration
  fee of $20.00 will be charged to each skater and includes your U.S. Fig
 ure Skating membership fee.
