DESCRIPTION:The W&uuml\;rzburg Youth Orchestra (Tatjana Masurova\, direct
 or) presents its first concert in the United States on Saturday\, May 26
  at 5 PM at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church\, 472 Massachusetts Avenue in Ac
 ton as part of the Second International Rachmaninoff Russian Music Festi
 val.&nbsp\; Admission to the concert is FREE and voluntary donations are

 om the independent Waldorf School and the Grunewald Music High School\, 
 both located in W&uuml\;rzburg\, Germany.&nbsp\; All take private lesson
 s and have performed in numerous concerts. In May 2011\, the pupils of t
 he independent Waldorf School successfully participated in the Internati
 onal Music Festival of W&uuml\;rzburg.W&uuml\;rzburg Youth Orchestra's p

 . 3 No.6About Tatjana Masurova\, WYO's directorTatjana Masurova was born
  into a musical family in Russia and studied music from an early age. Sh
 e is a graduate of the Glinka Gorky State Conservatory (Nizhni Novgorod\
 , Russia) with an MM in choral conducting. She also attended a master cl
 ass at the world-famous Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.For the past 
 16 years Ms. Masurova has lived in Germany. Initially\, she freelanced a
 s a choir director\, an instructor of piano and singing\, an organist in
  a Roman Catholic church and as the choir rehearsal leader at the Nation
 al Theatre of Coburg. In September 1998 Masurova began her career as a m
 usic teacher at the Independent Waldorf School of Coburg and founded the
  boys' choir "Cantate" in Coburg. Numerous concerts and appearances were
  organized for "Cantate"&nbsp\; including participation in the well-know
 n International Youth Music Festival of Rodachtal.Ms. Masurova joined th
 e music faculty of the Independent Waldorf School of W&uuml\;rzburg in 2
 009\; there she directs the elementary orchestra\, the junior and senior
  orchestras as well as senior choir. As the initiator of cultural presen
 tations including workshops and concerts\, she offers artistically and m
 usically talented individuals a path for advancement.In May 2011\, the I
 nternational Music Festival of W&uuml\;rzburg was successfully held unde
 r her musical supervision and direction.&nbsp\; Now she is putting finis
 hing touches on the Waldorf School of W&uuml\;rzburg's senior orchestra 
 program for their participation in the International Russian Rachmaninof
 f Music Festival in Boston\, Massachusetts.
