 ard Community Band\, a local volunteer organization established in 1947\
 , entering its&rsquo\; 65th year\, with regional membership and a long a
 nd proud musical history is actively seeking musicians who enjoy ensembl
 e playing as well as the social interaction and friendship that comes wi
 th participation in a group such as this.\n&nbsp\;\nSince 1947 the band 
 has been performing FREE concerts to the local towns&rsquo\; people ever
 y Wednesday throughout the summer months.&nbsp\; One of the longest\, if
  not THE longest tradition the town can claim.&nbsp\; With an updated mi
 x of material\, the members &ldquo\;Give Back&rdquo\; their musical gift
  of talent to the town of Maynard.\n&nbsp\;\nIf you play a band instrume
 nt (brass\, woodwind or percussion) we would cordially invite you to joi
 n us in rehearsal on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:45 pm at the Fowl
 er Middle School off of Route 117 (Great Road) in Maynard\, MA.\n&nbsp\;
 \nYou do not need to feel that you have a high degree of expertise on yo
 ur instrument\, just the ability to read music and the desire to join ot
 her like-minded men and women\, young and old\, who find pleasure in mak
 ing music and presenting it to others during our concert season. We espe
 cially encourage brass and woodwind players (tuba\, sax and clarinet) to
  consider joining us\, but would welcome all other band instrumentalists

 oup\, play a wide variety of both traditional and contemporary music and
