2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Dec. 10 include the Finance Committee at 7:30 p.m., the Historic District Commission at 7:30 p.m. and the Acton Memorial Library Board of Trustees at 7:30 p.m.

4. Health Director Receives an AwardDoug Halley, health director for the town of Acton, has received the 495/MetroWest Partnership's Donald R. Wheeler Award for Public Sector Leadership for his work bringing local players together to form the Crosstown Connect regional transportation partnership among the towns of Acton, Boxborough, Littleton, Maynard, and Stow along with employer partner Clock Tower Place in Maynard. 5. Chance of Show: There's a chance of snow in the forecast for Tuesday, with a high of 33, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a mostly clear evening with a low of 20.
