'A Parent's Guide to the New Teenager'

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Nov. 5 in Acton.

1.  ABRHS PTSO Presents “A Parent’s Guide to the New Teenager:” On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School PTO will host Tony Wolf, author of the best selling and critically acclaimed “Get Out of My Life but First Could You Drive Me and Cheryl to the Mall, A Parent’s Guide to the New Teenager” and his most recent book “I’d Listen to My Parents if They’d Just Shut Up,” for a talk at the ABRHS auditorium. Get the details here

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Nov. 5 include the Acton Memorial Library Board of Trustees at 7:30 p.m.,  the Planning Board at 7:30 p.m., the Acton-Boxborough Transitional School Committee's Superintendent Search Subcommittee at 4:30 p.m. and the Senior/Disabled Tax Aid Committee at 3 p.m.

5. Sunny Day, Cloudy Night: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high around 47, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a partly cloudy evening with a low of 33.
