Acton School Committees to Vote on Track Renovation on Aug. 22

1. The Town of Acton's two school committees will discuss the ABRSD track renovation proposal during its Aug. 22 meeting at RJ Grey Junior High School. Superintendent Stephen Mills will provide presentation slides and there will be a vote whether to approve the project.

3. Acton Memorial Library is offering a Facebook basics class on Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. Learn how to set up an account and learn the fundamentals of using it. At Follow-Up, hear more about the service's great features and its risks, and get help with questions that arose as you used your new account.

Bring your own laptop. If you don't have one, the library has a limited number of laptops available for use in the workshop.
