Dance Party at the Acton Jazz Cafe

1. Dance Party! Lifelong local resident B J Magoon will bring his band Driving Sideways to the Acton Jazz Cafe at 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, for "a dance priority mix of swing, blues, roots rock, blue-eyed soul and Zydeco music. Get the details here.
2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, there are not public meetings posted for Friday, Jan. 17.
3. ICYMI: In case you missed it, earlier this week we shared news that an Acton woman was arrested after allegedly threatening to set off a bomb at the Concord District Court. If you haven't yet, definitely check it out.
4. Food Drive: This Saturday, Jan. 18, the Acton and Boxborough Democratic Town Committees will be conducting a food drive for the AB Community Supper and Food Pantry at both Roche Brothers and Donelan's supermarkets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Get the details here.
