Discovery Museums Offer ASD Friendly Hours Tuesday Afternoon
What you need to see, do and know on Jan. 7 in Acton.
1. ASD Friendly Afternoons: The Discovery Museums in Acton will hold ASD (autism spectrum disorder) Friendly Hours beginning at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7. There will be special sensory based activities open to everyone, and a dedicated room available to welcome families with a child with an ASD. Get the details here.
2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Jan. 7 include the Morrison Farm Committee at 7 p.m., the Planning Board at 7:30 p.m., the Recreation Commission at 7 p.m. and a Joint Acton Public and Acton-Boxborough Regional and Acton-Boxborough Transitional School Committee at 7:30 p.m.
