'High School Musical' and Cabaret Both Open in Acton

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Friday, Nov. 22.

1. Cabaret Night 2013! The Acton-Boxborough Regional High School Choruses present their 19th annual Cabaret Night, opening this Friday, Nov. 22. Performances, slated for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, will feature "vocal music of all styles, including Broadway, folk, contemporary, and a cappella, and plenty of comedy, dance numbers, and instrumental groups." Get the details here

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Nov. 22 include the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, Acton-Boxborough Transitional School Committee at 8 a.m. 

3. ICYMI: In case you missed it, earlier this week we shared news that Red Raven, the much anticipated gastropub replacing ScupperJack's, plans to open this Sunday, Nov. 24. If you haven't yet, definitely check it out

4. 'High School Musical' Live OnstageThe Acton Cooperative Theater (A.C.T.) production of Disney’s High School Musical Jr. at RJ Grey Junior High School opens at 7 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 22, with showtimes on Saturday and Sunday as well. Get the details here

5. Scattered Showers, At Least: Cloudy skies and scattered showers are in the forecast for Friday, with a high of 48, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts more clouds and showers overnight, with a love of 33.
