Orange Leaf Joins 'No Kid Hungry' Campaign

We've got five things you need to see, od and know on Sept. 17 in Acton.

1. Orange Leaf Participates in "Go Orange for No Kid Hungry:" Orange Leaf, including its location in Acton, is partnering with Share Our Strength this month to raise funds for the nationwide No Kid Hungry campaign. To help raise awareness of the issue of childhood hunger in America, each Orange Leaf location will sell limited edition “Go Orange” commemorative cups, with seventy-five cents from the sale of the $1 cups going Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. 2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Commission on Disabilities at 10:30 a.m. at Town Hall, the Planning Board at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall and Planning Board public hearings at 7:45 and 8:45 p.m. at Town Hall.
