Rosh Hashanah Begins Tonight

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Sept. 4 in Acton.

1. Community Rosh Hashanah DinnerIn celebration of the start of Jewish New Year tonight, the Acton Concord Chabad Center will host a Rosh Hashanah dinner at the Acton-Concord Chabad Center on Great Road. A candle-lighting and services precede the dinner, beginning at 6:56 p.m. Get the details here

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District Acton-Boxborough Transitional School Committee at 7:15 a.m. at RJ Grey Junior High and the Conservation Commission at 7:15 p.m. at Town Hall.
