Acton Community Chorus Open Rehearsals

Do you enjoy singing? Are you looking for the comaradery of singing with a group? Then come check out the Acton Community Chorus for the start of its 30th year at our two Open Rehearsals on Monday September 9th and Monday, September 16th. We meet at 7:15 pm at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, which has graciously donated rehearsal space and is located at 54 Hosmer Street, in Acton.  The Acton Community Chorus is a non-audition, non-religious, open membership chorus that invites singers from across all communities. This year is especially exciting as it is our 30th Anniversary. We will be rehearsing for our Winter Lights concert to be held in January 2014. Our central piece will be Mozart’s Requiem as well as several smaller works. Please note ability to read music is helpful but is not a requirement.

Our conductor is Paul Johnson from Hudson and our accompanist is Susan Bishov from Chelmsford.  The Acton Community Chorus 2014 concert programs are supported in part by grants from the Acton-Boxborough, Concord, Bedford and Stow Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
