"Ring For Judy Day" at Salvation Army Kettles

For the last 15 years the Acton Red Kettle bells have rung on a Saturday in December in remembrance of Judy Donald and her enthusiastic support of the Salvation Army cause. Dr. Mary Donald's daughter loved to ring the bell, play her cornet and hand out candy canes at the red kettle.  Georgie Taylor started the first "Ring for Judy" day in 1997 a month after Judy passed away at the age of 37. Come join us as we continue the tradition this Saturday, December 14.  Enjoy a  candy cane at the Kmart, Roche Brothers and Stop & Shop kettles in memory of Judy.
