ART, FOOD and MUSIC FILL WEST ACTON VILLAGE with The 2nd Annual Village AMP!

Outdoor artist market, musical performances, food and family fun Sunday, September 8, 12:00 – 6 pm

West Acton, MA, August 19, 2013 -- West Acton Village is AMP-ing it up, and all are invited!  The 3Rivers Arts Village Arts+Music Project (Village AMP!) is a celebration of the rich local culture that’s blooming in West Acton and the region with a lively neighborhood family festival.  Enjoy pop-up art galleries and “locally-grown” arts and crafts for sale, live music, wine and beer tastings, local food, puppets, performance art, face painting and more.

Music from 12:00-6:00 pm. 

Musical performances feature Indian Hill Music’s Brass Quartet, Groton’s Blue Taxi, Matt Rimkus, and the debut of Johnny Fireseed and The Junkyard Dogs, a sustainable band playing all recycled instruments. Puppeteer Bob Hepner will bring his fantastically quirky menagerie of puppets seen at The Nines Festival to delight audiences of all ages.

The Village AMP is a collaborative effort among 3Rivers Arts, New Habitat Partners LLC, FireSeed Arts and Acton Open Studios, with generous support from OMR Architects, Thoughtforms Corporation Builders, Indian Hill Music Center, Enterprise Bank, Rapscallion Beer, Red White and Brew Market, and Revolution Community Acupuncture, Bodywork and Yoga.
