Acton TV Offers Summer 'Kids Video Camp'

Will your kid be participating?

ActonTV announced on Tuesday the return of its popular “Video Production Camp for Kids” (ages 10-13) at a fee of $100 per child to be held during summer vacation, July 14-17, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in its state-of-the-art television studio on Craig Road.

Ron Zimmerman, ActonTV’s Education & Outreach Manager, said that participants will learn video production skills that include Studio Camera and Control Room operation, Lighting and Audio techniques, Chroma Key (background image screening) and Technical Directing.

Each participant will then apply these newly-learned skills by working as a team to produce their own TV talk show and game show which will then be telecast on ActonTV’s Educational channels (Comcast channel 9 and Verizon channel 40) - each participant will receive their own DVD of the final production.
