Help Women in Need 'Make a Fresh Start'

The Paper Store Partners with Rosie’s Place and Vera Bradley.

(EDITOR'S NOTE: The following edited release was submitted by Melanie A. Sotera.)

Help The Paper Store and Rosie’s Place of Boston give women in need a fresh start in the New Year. While you’re at it, celebrate the new “Make a Fresh Start” Spring line of colors and styles from Vera Bradley® including four new colors (Jazzy Blooms, Plum Crazy, Midnight Blues, and Go Wild), as well as 14 new signature styles.

From Jan. 9, 2013, through Jan. 13, The Paper Store will proudly host our “Make the Switch” event. Partnering with Vera Bradley, every The Paper Store location (excluding Norwalk, Conn. & Concord, N.H.) will be offering a 20 percent off discount for any one eligible Vera Bradley handbag or tote when a customer donates a gently-used handbag or tote of any comparable brand. All donations will go to Rosie’s Place of Boston, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women. Also, in addition to customer donations and in lieu of a “Register to Win” accompanying the event, The Paper Store will instead make a donation of its own to Rosie’s Place consisting of new Vera Bradley totes.

This collaboration between The Paper Store and Vera Bradley will help Rosie’s Place in their mission to give women in need the assistance they require. So many of those who find themselves at Rosie’s Place simply cannot get by, regardless of the fact that they are working and in housing. Every woman deserves help in making her fresh start. No one should have to do it alone, and The Paper Store believes in the significance of giving back to the communities they reside in. The importance of owning a handbag that is both functional and stylish should never be underestimated. So, head to The Paper Store, check out Vera Bradley’s new and exciting offerings, “Make the Switch,” and help those less fortunate to “Make a Fresh Start.”
