Sixty-three Acton residents filed million-dollar tax returns in 2011, a decrease of 2 percent (or one filer) over the previous year.

That means that one out of every 358 residents filed a million-dollar return, reported the Boston Business Journal.

Acton's Millionaire's Club surpasses the Massachusetts average by community, which was 51, and is well above the the state median, which was 14.But that wasn't enough to crack the Commonwealth's Top 5.

Boston, Newton, Wellesley, Weston and Cambridge were the top five for millionaires, according to BBJ.
