Buddy Dog Humane Society has its eyes set on a new home. But according to one report, not everyone is on board with the plans.

Currently located at 151 Boston Post Road, owners of the Sudbury kennel purchased land on Wayside Inn Road, where they plan to open within the next several years on a 9.5-acre lot of land, according to a report in the Metrowest Daily News.

But some nearby residents told the newspaper that they oppose to the move, because they believe the kennel could be noisy and would detract to the historic district of Wayside Inn Road.

"It's a step backwards for the Wayside Inn district," resident Frank Lyons told the Metrowest Daily News

According to the Buddy Dog Humane Society, the organization was founded when a "terrified, abandoned puppy was discovered in a paper bag on a pile of smoldering trash" at the town dump.

The shelter expanded in 1984 to include cats, and the facility on Boston Post Road was constructed in 1976 to include 32 indoor and outdoor runs with bedding, toys, and fenced areas for playtime, the organization said.

Who would wish to live near an animal shelter with Obama in office? Ask the human American citizens in Texas, Arizona and California.

Dumbest comment ever, Tara.
