VIDEO: Why Fly South When the Water is Heated?

Minuteman Ridge ducks have the good life; warm water, food and a floating home.

Have you ever driven by Deacon Hunt Drive and thought to yourself, 'how do those ducks survive the brutal winter?' Well, Acton Patch did and decided to talk with Larry Smith, Minuteman Ridge resident, builder of and duck enthusiast.

Smith explained that the Minuteman Ridge neighborhood decided to put an aerator system into the pond this winter which making constant bubbles that warm the surface of the water, breaking up the ice.
