LAST CHANCE: Acton Hair Stylist Looking to Give Free Makeover

Need a new look? Know someone who does? Make a nomination for yourself or someone you know into wendyo Salon's hair makeover contest. Nomination period ends at midnight.

One local hair stylist is looking to give a free and fun hair makeover to someone in need; be it a mom, dad, teen or grandparent sporting an outdated look. 

, stylist and owner of , of 572 Massachusetts Ave., grew up in Acton, resides in Littleton and has been cutting and styling hair at wendyo for three years next month.

"Acton has been so good to me for so many years and I just thought I could do this little bit to give back to the community and I have other exciting things like this planned for the future as well," said Ouellette.

The Makeover Process:

1. Leave a comment on wendyo Salon's website nominating yourself or someone who deserves a hair makeover.

2. Write a brief description as to why you or the person you nominated deserves a new look.

3. Get Wendy's attention! Upload a photo of your nomination to her Facebook page or contact her on Twitter.

4. Parental permission is needed if you're under the age of 18.

5. All entries must be submitted by midnight on Saturday, September 1. Wendy will contact the winner shortly thereafter.

It should be known that Wendy is very active on social media and will make your before and after pictures/videos public. 

So, what are you waiting for? September is right around the corner. Nominate yourself or someone for a new back to school look.
