“We are very appreciative of the dedication of the committee members, and the generosity of all our sponsors and individual donors who contributed to such a wonderful evening,” Schuster said. “This outpouring of kindness will help us continue to make a difference in the lives of innumerable patients and their families who rely on us for high-quality care within the local community.”

Designed with the well-being, privacy and comfort of patients and their families in mind, Emerson’s cardiac care unit features state-of-the-art telemetry for patients who require monitoring, but need less intensive nursing care than is provided in the critical care unit. The hospital's comprehensive array of services for patients with heart problems also includes a cardiology testing lab and cardiac rehabilitation program.

Emerson Hospital is a multi-site health system headquartered in Concord, Mass., with additional facilities in Sudbury, Groton and Westford. The 179-bed hospital provides advanced medical services to more than 300,000 individuals in 25 towns.
