In preparation for the snow storm that has been forecast by the National Weather Service to begin with this evening, Wednesday, December 26 and expected to last into Thursday morning’s commute, MBCR’s engineering crews will be deployed at all commuter rail stations  to clear snow and salt walkways.

At this time we anticipate being able to operate our normal service but we do recommend that you watch/listen to your local media outlets, the MBTA website or monitor the T-Alerts for updates; weather conditions could change resulting in delays or even cancellations depending on the severity of the storm as it progresses.  If you do not already receive T-Alerts, you may sign up to receive them for your line and train by logging onto: http://www.talerts.com/

MBCR wants to ensure the safety of all of our passengers so we ask that you please watch your footing and hold onto the handrails when boarding and exiting the trains.

Thank you for riding the commuter rail.
