“These free monthly TV workshops continue to have great appeal, and we encourage anyone interested to sign up immediately to reserve a spot in the next set of classes to be held in our fully equipped television studio, Zimmerman said in a release.”

The March course will cover camera operation, directing, lighting, audio, editing, field production and other aspects of TV program production:

  • Session 1 (Tuesday, March 19) — introduction to community television and studio production techniques.
  • Session 2 (Thursday, March 21) —  audio & single camera field production.

Once you've completed the workshop, you will be able to use the new ActonTV television studio and its equipment to produce your own TV programs, or cover meetings and events in town for telecast on ActonTV’s local access channels. In addition, they will be qualified to help other producers or members of the ActonTV staff with studio and field camera shoots.
