When/Where: Saturday, all day, at Eastern Mountain Sports, (145 Great Road, Acton)
The Buzz: Those cute kids selling the cookies you can't resist will be at EMS all day Saturday. Get your Thin Mint fix.

Wayland Winter Farmers Market
When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Russell's Garden Center (397 Boston Post Road, Wayland)
The Buzz: Stop by for fresh produce, bagels, homemade granola, chicken pot pies, local wine, gelato and more! The indoor farmers market also offers a chance to visit with neighbors and sit in the greenhouse to enjoy a snack.

Musical Learning and Family Bonding
When/Where: Saturday, 9:15 a.m., Atkinson Pool/Fairbank Community Center, (40 Fairbank Road, Sudbury)

The Concord Players Winter Show
When/Where: Saturday, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m., 51 Walden St., Concord
The Buzz: The Concord Players will perform The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 a wildly comedic who-done-it poking fun at show business and the corny thrillers of old Hollywood.

Ntrak Model Train Show
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16; 12 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17, National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington
The Buzz: The National Heritage Museum launches February School Vacation Week with a weekend filled with model railroading fun featuring the Northeast Ntrak Modular Railroad Club.
