The Buzz: Acton Coffee House presents an art exhibit featuring the work of Jonathan Smith and Cynthia Katz.

HOPEsudbury Collecting Food For Pet Shelters
When/Where: Saturday, Feb. 23, 9 a.m., through March 8; Sudbury Grange #121, 326 Concord Road, Sudbury
The Buzz: HOPEsudbury is supporting local animal shelters through a pet food drive to benefit the Buddy Dog Humane Society, the Neponset Valley Humane Society and the Forever Home Rescue of New England. Shelters have requested dry and canned cat food, small bags of puppy and adult Science Diet dry dog food and canned dog food (Science Diet, Natural Balance, or Halo). 

Wayland Winter Farmers' Market
When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Russell's Garden Center, 397 Boston Post Road, Wayland
The Buzz: Head to the indoor market where you'll find veggies, baked goods, bagels, chicken pot pies, granola, wine, cheese, wood-fired pizza and more.

Sondheim's Fairy-Tale Musical "Into the Woods"
When/Where: Friday, Feb. 22, 7 p.m.; Regis College, 235 Wellesley St., Weston
The Buzz: Director David Tierney and Assistant Director / Musical Director Chris Holownia lead the talented 23-person cast and live orchestra.

The Concord Players Winter Show
When/Where: Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23; 51 Walden St., Concord, 8 p.m.
The Buzz: The show is The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, a wildly comedic, who-done-it romp that pokes fun at show business and the corny thrillers of old Hollywood.
