Sponsored by the Acton No Place for Hate Committee
at Congregation Beth Elohim, 133 Prospect St. Acton
Keynote Speaker: Yousef Bashir
A Palestinian Arab Muslim from Gaza, Bashir is currently working toward a
master’s degree in conflict and coexistence at Brandeis University. In 2004
Israeli doctors saved his life after he was shot by an Israeli soldier, although
the M-16 bullet is still lodged in Bashir’s spine. He will discuss his journey to
overcoming hate and promoting peace, understanding, and forgiveness.
A/B students will serve a delicious breakfast
donated by local merchants.
