Assabet River Rail Trail (ARRT) Annual Meeting

The
monthly Assabet River Rail Trail meeting will be held on Thurs,
September 19 at 7 p.m. in the first floor conference room at Marlborough City Hall, 140 Main Street in
Marlborough and anyone interested in the trail is invited. This

is the annual meeting with the election of officers and directors so all are encourage to attend to ensure a quorum .

Other agenda items will include a trail news update and fall project

planning.  On Sat, October 5 ARRT volunteers will be at MaynardFest
answering visitors' questions at their booth. MaynardFest runs from
9-3:30 in downtown Maynard.
The Assabet River Rail Trail,
Inc. (ARRT) is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of promoting the
creation of a 12.5-mile paved, multi-use, non-motorized trail that will connect
Marlborough, Hudson, Stow, Maynard, and Acton. Volunteers organize trail
clean-ups and trail count days as well as other activities. The
Marlborough-Hudson portion of the trail officially opened in September 2005. 
ARRT encourages all trail users to be good stewards

of the trail by picking up any litter that they see. For more information: www.arrtinc.org.
