Green Acton Candidates' Night

Acton Candidates Wax “Green” on March 12

What are Acton’s environmental challenges and accomplishments? Is there a burning “green” issue that needs the Town’s attention? Join us! Green Acton hosts its 2013 Candidates’ Night on Tuesday, March 12, 7–8:45pm at the R.J. Grey Junior High School library. Hear from residents who hope to be elected to seats on the Acton Board of Selectmen and the Acton Board of Water Commissioners. Participating candidates will have time to talk about their thoughts on issues of environmental interest and to invite participants’ questions.

Candidates for the two open Acton Board of Selectmen positions include Janet Adachi (incumbent), Margaret Busse, Katherine (“Katie”) Green, and Eric Romaniak. Ronald Parenti (incumbent) and Paul Malchodi are candidates for a single Water Commissioner slot. The Town election is March 26; the voter registration deadline is March 6. More information is available at: http://www.acton-ma.gov/index.aspx?NID=382.
